Prioritizing Key Areas of Security and Preparedness
DHS has made it clear that it will focus the FY 2024 grants on high-priority areas, including cybersecurity, soft targets and crowded places, intelligence and information sharing, domestic violent extremism, community preparedness and resilience, and election security. Grantees will be required to dedicate a minimum of 30% of their awards to these six national priority areas, with a minimum of 3% specifically earmarked for election security
